Our Spring Show took place on Friday night in a packed hall, where our students dazzled the audience with their incredible talents. The evening was filled with unforgettable performances, from captivating singers and energetic dancers to impressive musicians.
A standout moment was the success of some members of our traditional music group, who recently secured 1st place in the 15-18 Ceili Band competition at the Fermanagh Feis. Tonight, our Grúpaí Ceoil performed a lively selection of jigs and reels, while the choir delivered a stunning rendition of an ’80s pop classic and Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson.
Solo artists took on timeless hits, including Mamma Mia, and brought an Irish twist with songs from The Cranberries. Year 8 and 9 students rocked the stage with a mash-up of classic rock anthems, and Mylo wowed the audience with an original piano composition. Adding to the excitement, the staff even joined in the fun, performing a spirited Céilí dance—Sweets of May.
It was a truly fantastic night! A huge thank you to everyone who participated, helped behind the scenes, and came along to support. Special appreciation goes to Mrs. MacDonald and our musical director, Fiona Lee, for making it all possible. Until next time!
